We systematically collect and verify reports of hate crimes and discrimination incidents targeting LGBTIQ+ individuals across Australia, creating a comprehensive record.
Our interactive maps and statistics make the reality of anti-LGBTIQ+ hate visible to the public, media, and policymakers who can drive change.
We connect those affected with support resources and contribute data to organizations working to protect LGBTIQ+ rights and safety.
Rigorous collection, careful verification, and transparent reporting
Our database is compiled from multiple sources including news reports, police data, community reports, and court records. Every incident is reviewed for accuracy before inclusion.
We acknowledge that our data represents only reported and documented incidents. Many hate crimes go unreported due to fear, stigma, or lack of trust in authorities. Our statistics are a minimum count, not a complete picture.

This project is maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers who believe in the power of data to drive social change. We work closely with LGBTIQ+ community organizations, legal advocates, and researchers.
